Machine Learning

« Back to Glossary Index

Machine learning (ML) is a subfield of Artificial Intelligence that involves training algorithms to learn from data and make predictions or decisions without being explicitly programmed. In other words, machine learning algorithms can automatically improve their performance by learning from new data. Machine learning is used in a wide variety of applications, including image recognition, natural language processing, and predictive analytics. For example, machine learning algorithms can be used to recognize faces in photos, translate languages, or predict customer behaviour. By analysing large amounts of data, machine learning can help businesses make more informed decisions, automate processes, and improve efficiency.
